Product Features
1. Closed-Cell Foam Structure · Waterproof, Moisture-Proof, Cushioning & Gap-Filling
The independent cell structure of closed-cell foam effectively blocks moisture and dust ingress, delivering reliable waterproof sealing. The foam core absorbs impact energy and dissipates stress under vibration or shock, providing excellent cushioning and shock absorption. Its flexible foam body conforms to slightly uneven surfaces, fills structural tolerances, and adapts to irregular substrate profiles.
2. High Initial Tack + Sustained Holding Power · Bonds to a Wide Range of Surfaces
Formulated with high-performance acrylic adhesive, this tape offers both high initial tack (for instant positioning) and excellent long-term holding power (for lasting bonds). It exhibits strong adhesion to metals, ABS, PC, glass, painted surfaces, stone, and other common substrates — with particularly good wet-out and anchorage on engineering plastics such as polycarbonate (PC).
3. White Finish · Aesthetically Pleasing for Light-Colored Enclosures
The white tape color is specifically designed for applications on white or light-colored housings, home appliances, nameplates, and decorative trim. It eliminates the "show-through" or dark-edge appearance often caused by black foam tapes, enhancing the overall visual quality of finished products.
4. Die-Cut & Kiss-Cut Compatible · Suitable for Automated Assembly Lines
The tape supports custom die-cutting and kiss-cutting with high dimensional precision, making it ideal for automated pick-and-place applications to boost production efficiency. Please note: This is a standard permanent-bond tape. Removal may leave foam residue on the substrate. It is NOT a removable-grade tape. For temporary mounting or repositionable applications, please refer to our dedicated removable series.

FAQ
Q1: Can this tape be used outdoors for extended periods?
This tape offers good weatherability and UV resistance, but is primarily designed for indoor and automotive interior applications. For prolonged outdoor exposure with high-intensity sunlight, we recommend our specialized outdoor-grade foam tape series.
Q2: What if I misalign the tape during application — can I reposition it?
If the tape has been lightly pressed and not fully bonded, you may carefully peel it off and reposition. However, once fully pressed down or after extended dwell time, the tape will be difficult to remove intact and may leave foam or adhesive residue. In such cases, we recommend using a fresh piece of tape.
Q3: What is the maximum temperature this tape can withstand?
Based on reference data for similar acrylic foam tapes, it can continuously withstand temperatures from -40°C to 93°C, with short-term tolerance to higher temperatures.
Q4: How do I clean residual foam or adhesive after removal?
As this is a permanent-bond tape, removal may leave foam residue. We recommend using a specialized adhesive remover or industrial alcohol to gently wipe away any remaining residue.
Q5: How soon should I apply the tape after removing the release liner?
We recommend immediate application after peeling off the release liner to avoid dust contamination on the adhesive surface, which could compromise bonding strength.
Q6: Do you offer custom sizes and die-cut shapes?
Yes. We supply both roll stock and custom die-cut parts to suit your automated assembly requirements. Please contact us with your specific dimensions and specifications.
